Earlier today, Samsung showered the June 2023 security update on a bunch of devices, including Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A23, Galaxy Tab Active 3 and Galaxy Note 20 series in different regions, now the continuing company has rolled out the same update for the Galaxy S22 series smartphones.

Going to the changelog, it only mansion improvement in security, stability and performance but doesn’t specify any general feature or function, which means only internal function has been affected by the update, which is not directly dependent on the system.

In other words, if you update your smartphone with the June update, you will get rid of general bugs which are hanging or de-stable the functioning of your device, and ultimately you will get a smooth experience on your device.

Currently, June 2023 update is rolling out in Europe. Users who own Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version number S901BXXU5CWEA, S906BXXU5CWEA and S908BXXU5CWEA respectively.

As per the latest official Samsung bulletin, the June 2023 patch includes over 60 vulnerability fixes found on devices. Of this total, most of the patches included by Google to remove bugs from Android OS and other fixes are included by Samsung that enhance the Galaxy device functioning.

Additionally, the update may include new versions of the respected apps, including PENUP, Samsung Internet, SmartThings, Samsung Members, Calculator, and Voice Recorder.

Wherever the new update is available for your device, you will get a notification for it. Then if you want to install it, you just need to tap on it, and it will redirect to the download menu; now you have to tap on the download now button and it will start downloading and get automatically installed.
