Galaxy A53 gets June 2023 security update in the US

Usually, Samsung updates high-end devices earlier than other devices, but this time company has already expanded the June update to some mid-range phones including Galaxy A23A52, and A52s. Now the company is making one more addition to the A series list in the form of Galaxy A53.

The latest update for Galaxy A53 is now live in the US. It is currently available for the carrier-locked variants affiliated with the Dish wireless network. However, it will soon be available on all the affiliated carriers.

The user who owns the Galaxy A53 can easily update the device with the firmware version number A536USQS6CWE5. The June 2023 security update only aims to do maintenance to the device security. Apart from this, there will be no additional feature available with the update.

For your information, the June 2023 security update brings security-related fixes, there over 60 issues have been fixed that were found in the Galaxy devices. From them, 53 patches are included by Google, which removes bugs from Android OS, and 11 patches are added by Samsung, exclusively available for Galaxy devices.

Galaxy A53 was launched back in 2022; the device came into the market with Android 12-based One UI 4.1; later, it received new major updates and now it is running on Android 13-based One UI 5.1. Samsung has promised to give five years of support in which it will receive four Android updates and several security updates up to 2027.
