Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 get June 2023 update on more carriers in the US

Samsung is one of the companies which takes the software update seriously and carefully updates all eligible devices, but due to restrictions company is unable to apply the same update routine in the US. Until now, not all the units of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 haven’t got the June 2023 security update. Different carriers are gradually releasing updates for these devices.

Notably, the new June 2023 security update is now rolling out on two more carriers, including Spectrum and Comcast. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are now getting the new update with firmware version numbers F936USQU2CWEM and F721USQU2CWEM, respectively.

According to official documentation from Samsung, the new security patch update include 60+ security vulnerability fixes. With these fixes, the update aims to maintain the security of the devices to the top so it can protect your device from harmful threats.

Additionally, the changelog also contains important information, which says that after installing the update, the terms and conditions for your device will be revised, which includes the dispute resolution agreement with arbitration terms.  

Samsung has released both foldable devices together. Notably, these devices had launched in the dedicated unpacked event last year. The company has packed both devices with the Android 12L; later, they received the new update as Android 13. According to the software update policy, both foldable devices will continuously get new updates up to 2027.
