Galaxy S23’s massive camera update expands for more US carriers

Samsung started rolling out the June 2023 security update very late for Galaxy S23 devices. But after introducing it to some South Asian countries earlier last week. The company is continuously expanding the update to many countries, including the US. Now the update is rolling out on more carriers.

The latest update is now rolling out in the US for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices with firmware versions S911USQU1AWF3, S916USQU1AWF3, and S918USQU1AWF3 respectively. The update is now available on two more carriers, including Xfinity and spectrum mobile. 

It is with noticing that the same update is already available on several networks, including T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Verizon. Apart from these, the unlocked variants of devices also got the update on almost all carriers, including T- mobile, MetroPCS, US Cellular, Spectrum mobile, Comcast, Verizon, Cellular South US, Cricket Wireless, Tracfone, Dishwireless, ATT, Bluegrass, and C-sphere.

What is included in the massive camera update?

The latest massive camera update of Galaxy S23 is coming in a bulky software package of 2.2 GB. In this package, the company has included some enhancements and fixes for the camera. For your information, the update has improved the camera autofocus and added 2X Zoom for portrait mode. Along with this, the update has also come with a new Gallery function, which will help you to delete multiple moving photos.

Moreover, the update also includes the latest security update in the form of the June 2023 security patch. With the new patch, the company has introduced 60+ security vulnerability fixes that enhance the overall security of the device.
