Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus first look and specs revealed

Samsung’s fan edition series always had a separate fan base, and it has been two years since they released their fan edition version. Back in 2021, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S7 FE and after, there has been no release from the Galaxy Tab S FE lineup. After several rumours, the firm confirmed the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus (SM-X616B) in July. It is highly expected that the model will be launched alongside the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra in the South Korean Tech’s Unpacked Galaxy Event, which is just two weeks ahead.

There has been no leak regarding the model’s features, looks and specifications earlier. Today a reliable source, Wolfoftablet, has collaborated with the tipster Steve H.McFly (@Onleaks) and shared the 5K pictures and a 360-degree video of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus on the Twitter handle. According to the CAD renderings of the device, the face of the model has small bezels. Users can insert the S-Pen in the groove on the back of the rear shell to charge it.

It holds a dual camera system on the rear panel and a fingerprint scanner built on the side into the power button. The tablet is equipped with a twin speaker system for audiophiles. The tipster added the dimension of the tablet as 285.4 x 185.4 x 6.54 mm. The tablet comes with the model number SM-X616B and measures a display of 12.4 inches, similar in size to its predecessor, Galaxy Tab S7 FE. It may be powered up by the Exynos 1380 chipset with a RAM storage of 8 GB.

As of now, Grey, Light Green, Light Pink, and Silver are the expected variety of colours of the tablet. When compared to its predecessor, the S7 FE 5G, the S9 FE Plus performs 40% better on Geekbench. Other than that, no new information has been shared regarding the model’s specifications.
