Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 could adopt a 50MP camera sensor
Samsung came up with the Galaxy Z Flip 5 as an enhanced version of the Galaxy Z series. With its Flex Window and Flex Cam, the Flip 5 stands out as an extraordinary piece of functionality, offering several features. Flip 5 brings out better clips and shots than its predecessor, Z Flip 4. It does mean an enhancement in the software upgrades in the camera system, but there is no change in the megapixel numbers equipped. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 12 MP main camera sensor included. Maybe it’s not the case in the next lineup, the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
According to reports from a Dutch news blog, Samsung is testing early versions of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. This is teased by the codenames “B6″ and Q6,” as the codenames of Flip 5 and Fold 5 were B5 and Q5, respectively. The testing doesn’t reveal any prominent information, but one fact has emerged: the Galaxy Z Flip 6 in the testing includes a 50 MP sensor for the main camera. However, it’s quite early to come up with this information as the series has a maximum of one year for the launch, and within the time period there is no constant to be maintained.
Out of the blue, if it turns out to be one of the listed features, then it will be a great gift on behalf of Samsung to foldable fans who have been waiting a long time for this improvement. Though details about this cutting-edge 50MP camera sensor are not yet known, speculation points to a possible alignment with the camera systems found in the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ models.
The firm brought many software upgrades to the camera system with the Flip 5, so it may intend to bring hardware camera enhancements with its upcoming Flip 6.
A dual camera arrangement is now present on the back of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The system consists of two 12 MP sensors, a wide and a 123-degree ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens. Included with a 12MP selfie camera sensor. Phase detection autofocus and OIS are the significant features included in the rear primary camera.
