Samsung brings August 2023 update to Galaxy M54 and Galaxy F54

Samsung has recently launched a new addition globally in the Galaxy M series as the Galaxy M54. This device is the premium in its series; it is loaded with all the high-end features and is affordable at the same time, while the Galaxy F54is the rebranded version of it that is limitedly available in the Indian subcontinent.

Now both of the devices are receiving a new security patch update in the form of the August 2023 update. The Galaxy F54 5G is receiving the update in India, while the Galaxy M54 is spotted grabbing the new security patch in Brazil.

Users who own the Galaxy F54 and Galaxy M54 can easily identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers E546BXXU3AWH2 and M546BXXU3AWG5, respectively. The latest update comes with a standard security patch. It includes 85 fixes that bring enhancements to several internal Galaxy devices.

Users who own the Galaxy M54 and Galaxy F54 in the above-mentioned countries should get an alert on their device regarding update availability. However, if you don’t get the notification yet, you can also check it manually by going to the system settings, selecting the software update menu, and tapping the download and install button. After this, wait until it finishes searching, and if it shows a new update available, hit the download button.

Samsung confirms One UI 6.0 beta coming to more countries

The Galaxy M54 and Galaxy F54 were both released earlier this year, and Samsung has launched them with One UI 5.1 based on Android 13 preinstalled. Samsung has promised five years of software updates for these devices, which will receive four major updates and Android security patch updates.
