For the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 series, Samsung has released the One UI 5 Watch OS upgrade. On Google’s Wear OS 4.0, Android 13 is featured. Three major features—sleep management, fitness functions, and user safety—are the focus of the Galaxy Watch’s newest software updates. The firm announced that they will soon bring the One UI 5 Watch upgrade for the older Galaxy smartwatches that were particularly released in the years 2021 and 2022 back in July.

Subsequently, the company announced the release of this update for older Galaxy Watches, also providing a roadmap that would punctuate the release on all supported Wear OS Galaxy Watches. And the picture specifies that the One UI Watch 5 is set to launch for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 series. It is almost confirmed that the launch is scheduled for this month, but the accurate date has not been mentioned, just like Samsung does every time, as the firm doesn’t usually commit to set release timetables during beta testing.

Things are kept unknown as we don’t know the exact source of the screenshot or any other information relating to the software update. The image reveals that the planned date for the release of the One UI Watch 5 is the 35th week of the current calendar year, which begins today. So we can expect a launch soon. Now coming to what the update brings in, with its smart sleep score factors, sleep consistency, and sleep animal symbols, the enhanced sleep management tool provides users with an insightful understanding of sleep habits.

Personalized heart-rate zones and ideal running intensities can help users achieve their fitness objectives. The Buds controller tile now comes with a 360 music controller, and the watch face and tile browser have an alternate vertical arrangement with the newer update. Other features include the fact that watch faces may cycle through the images stored or the user’s story. More than 20 timers will be supported with more call controls and app folders.
