Samsung Galaxy S10 Gets September 2023 Update After Software Support Ends

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is the luckiest device from Samsung because even after the software support for the device has ended, the company is still giving more updates for the device. The last time it grabbed an extra software update with the same security patch was in the form of March 2023, and now it is getting a new firmware update with a fresh security patch.

The latest update for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e is rolling out with firmware version numbers G973FXXSHHWI1, G975FXXSHHWI1, and G970FXXSHHWI1, respectively. The latest update brings a new security patch in the form of September 2023, which doesn’t bring any new features, but with this update, the company is bringing several fixes that will enhance the overall security of the device.

Along with security enhancements, Samsung could also send some more improvements for the functioning of the device, so if you are getting any issues while running a particular function, then it is good news for you as it may eradicate the bugs and make your device less vulnerable.

Currently, the new update for the Galaxy S10 series is spotted in only Mexico on the Telcel network, but it is expected that the update may be provided to all the Galaxy S10 units across the world; however, it may take some time to reach every unit.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 was launched back in 2019 with Android 9 preinstalled. However, as the company has promised to give three major updates to the device, it has gradually grabbed new Android updates and is currently running on Android 12, which is the last major update.
