Samsung has a large number of devices in its different lineups, such as the Galaxy Z, Galaxy S, Galaxy A, and many more. The company has responsibly updated most of the devices with the September 2023 update. However, as all the devices have not received the update yet because they belong to different regions, the company is now rolling out the update for Galaxy S20 series devices.

Notably, the Galaxy S20 devices have already received a September patch on the carrier-locked variants. Now, the Korean giant is making it available in unlocked variants. Users can identify the latest update by the firmware version number, G98*U1UES7HWI1. It is also worth noting that the FE model has also grabbed the same update in Europe.

One UI 6.0 Beta currently available for these Samsung Galaxy devices

September 2023 is a common security patch update, so don’t expect any new features or novelty to be available with the update. It brings 62 fixes that aim to strengthen the security of the update. Along with security fixes, it may also bring some new changes to the several built-in applications that improve their functionality.

Moreover, if you install the latest update on your device, then you can enjoy all your favorite content on your devices without worrying about security, as with the new update, the device will get a refreshment with new security codes that protect the devices from external threats.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 devices back in 2020; this device was one of Samsung’s most popular devices. It comes with Android 10, and later it received more major updates. Currently, it is running on Android 13 (One UI 5.1). However, the Galaxy S20 series device is no longer eligible for any Android updates.
