Samsung has quietly updated pricing across its US storefront, pushing up the cost of several existing tablets, foldables, and phones that have been on the market for months. These aren’t generational increases tied to new hardware. The products haven’t changed. The price tags have.
The tablet lineup took the hardest hit. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra’s 1TB model now sits at $1,899.99, a $280 increase with no added features to justify it. Even the base Tab S11 crossed the $900 mark, up $100 from its original launch price. The Tab S10 FE, Tab S10 Plus, and Tab A11 Plus all saw similar treatment. Essentially, if it has Samsung’s name on it and fits in the premium or near-premium bracket, the price went up.
Foldables and higher-end phones weren’t spared either. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 in 512GB now costs $1,299.99, while the Galaxy S25 Edge’s 512GB variant climbed by $80. This comes shortly after the Galaxy Z Fold 7 received its own price increase, making it a pattern rather than an isolated adjustment.
What makes this unusual is the timing. Mid-cycle price hikes at this scale are rare in consumer electronics. Manufacturers typically absorb cost pressures quietly or wait until the next product generation to reset pricing. Samsung is doing neither.
One detail worth noting: the Galaxy S26 series appears untouched. Samsung seems willing to protect pricing on its core volume drivers while extracting more margin from buyers already committed to the premium tier.
Several of the higher prices are currently obscured by promotional discounts shown at checkout, but the new regular prices are visible and locked in. Here is every confirmed price change across Samsung’s US storefront:

The broader context is hard to ignore. Tariff pressures and rising component costs have been squeezing manufacturers across the industry. Samsung isn’t alone in facing those pressures, but it is unusually transparent about passing them on.
For consumers, the message is clear: the window for buying Samsung’s best at last year’s prices has closed.
