Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ start receiving their first major OS update, Android 14 One UI 6.0

Last month, Samsung rolled out the One UI 6 update to the Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets, and now it is expanding the same update to the fan edition devices, including the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.

The One UI 6 update is based on Android 14, therefore it has all the new features that have been developed by Google for Android smartphones. Additionally, Samsung has also brought several new features to make it more interesting and useful. More specifically, the latest iteration will bring some new enhancements to the existing features, including the camera, gallery, weather, and many more. Users who own the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are getting a new update with firmware version numbers X516BXXU1BWK9 and X616BXXU1BWK9. It also brings the latest security patch in the form of the November 2023 patch. Currently, the update is available in some European countries and is expected to be available in more countries in the coming days.

If you are also using the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, now you can easily update the devices by following these steps: Go to system settings, click on Software Update, then tap the first option, “Download and Install,” and wait until it finishes searching. If the update is available, then click on the Download button.

Samsung Rolled Out One UI 6.0 (Android 14) Update To Galaxy A Series Devices

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S9 FE devices back in October; they come with Android 13 and One UI 5.1 preinstalled. These devices are eligible for at least five years of software updates. In which they will get four major updates, as currently they are getting One UI 6, it is counted as the first major update, and in the future they will get three more updates.
