Samsung has rolled out the One UI 6.1 for the third-generation foldables. It is worth noticing that the update is now available for both locked and unlocked variants. More specifically, the locked variants for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are getting new updates with the firmware version numbers F926USQU5IXDB and F711USQU6IXDB, respectively. Meanwhile, the unlocked units of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 devices with the firmware version numbers F926U1UEU5IXDB and F711U1UEU6IXDB, respectively,

Samsung has rolled out the June 2024 security patch to all the Galaxy devices in the US, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices. But even in a nearby country, the Canadian units of the 2022 foldables haven’t received the update at the ideal time; fortunately, the company has started rolling out the update for these devices.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices are getting a new update with the firmware version numbers F936WVLS5FXF1 and F721WVLS5FXF1, respectively. The latest update for these devices doesn’t bring any important features, but as it is a security-concentrated update, it is expected to be available for the devices.

Going into details, June 2024 will provide nearly 60 fixes, and Google has brought 37 patches to improve the vulnerability of the Android ecosystem. Along with this, the company has also brought 22 more patches that will improve the security of Galaxy devices exclusively.

Along with the security enhancement, the company will also provide some improvements for the devices, so if you want to get consistent performance, you should update your device to the latest version.

Samsung has already rolled out the June 2024 security patch update to the Galaxy A52s devices belonging to some regions, including Europe. Now,  moving forward, the company has started rolling out the update to India.

It is worth noticing that Samsung has introduced the June 2024 security patch update to a bunch of devices, including the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21 FE, and Galaxy S20 FE. Now the company has started expanding the update to the Galaxy A52sdevice with the firmware version number A528BXXS8GXEA. The update is available in India and gradually distributed to more units. The latest update for the device is getting some security strength. 

The June 2024 security patch fixed nearly 60 fixes, and Google introduced 37 patches that improve the internal functioning of Android devices to strengthen security. Along with this, the update also provides some more new enhancements that allow users to get rid of the issues found in the last update.

So if you are also facing any issues, then you should update your device to the latest version. To do that, you just need to go to the system settings, then tap on the software update menu. If you find any new updates, then tap on the download button.

However, it is worth noticing that some units of the flagship device and now the Middle Eastern units are still getting new updates in the US.

Samsung has rolled out a June 2024 security patch update in several Middle Eastern countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. Users who own the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers S921BXXS2AXED, S926BXXS2AXED, and S928BXXS2AXED, respectively. The update is coming for software packages smaller than 500 MB, which indicates that there will be no major changes for the update.
