Samsung is rolling out the October 2024 security update for the carrier-locked Galaxy S21 FE, S20 FE, and A53 in the US market; however, the update will be expanded to other regions soon.
Software updates significantly help in improving the device stability, while the October 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE is now available on the Verizon network in the US and carry G990USQSDGXJ4 and G781VSQSHHXJ3 software versions, while the Galaxy S21 FE 5G (2022) has G990U2SQSBGXJ4 version number.
Alternatively, the carrier-locked Galaxy A53 units are also getting the same update that can be identified with the A536VSQSDEXJ1 version on Verizon.
Although this is just a security and bug fixing patch, the update helps to improve the device’s stability while also offering a wide range of additional enhancements in overall functionality.
