Samsung Confirms Galaxy Models Eligible for December 2024 Security Update

While the Galaxy audience is waiting for One UI 7’s beta version to drop soon, Samsung has just shared the details of the new Android Security Bulletin for the December month for the Galaxy devices. Meanwhile, here are all the smartphones that are eligible for the December 2024 security update.

Samsung covers different parts of the world when it comes to delivering security updates to its Galaxy models. At the same time, the fresh patch comes with a lot of security patches that arrive in the form of CVEs from both Google and Samsung.

The December 2024 security update package from Google’s patches brings 6 critical CVEs, 28 high-level CVEs, 1 CVE item already included in previous updates, and 1 CVE item that is not applicable to Samsung devices. Alternatively, the Google security patches are further accompanied by 2 high-level CVEs from Samsung Semiconductor patches, while 8 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs) from the company’s own patches.

At the same time, this helps in improving the overall security, stability, and reliability of the overall system and offers a smooth and more secure user experience with further performance optimizations.
