Samsung Galaxy M16 5G design surfaced online

Samsung is working on a new mid-range Galaxy device to launch soon named Galaxy M16 5G, and the leaked renders of the device hint at the three color variants.
Currently, Samsung is actively setting up to debut the next-generation high-end Galaxy S25 series in January next year at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Apart from the flagship device, Samsung is also working on more mid-range devices to debut next year, such as the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and more.
Now a new report suggests that Samsung is working on a new mid-range device named Galaxy M16 5G. The leaked render showcases (via – Android Headlines) that the device will feature sharper borders on its flat sides. This time the company is looking forward to ditching the curvature at the edges to make the device look like a flagship phone.

The coming Galaxy M16 5G will feature a triple camera setup arranged vertically with an “island” surrounding them; this seems the first step toward a new design language for forthcoming budget-friendly smartphones from Samsung.
The SIM card slot is housed on the left side, whereas the power, volume control buttons, and fingerprint reader are placed on the right side of the device. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will continue to use a side-mounted fingerprint reader on phones with AMOLED displays. It seems that Samsung has not focused on reducing the bottom bezel of the device. The device is reported to be powered by a Dimensity 6300 chipset.
