Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim Leaks Hint at Sleeker Design and Impressive Specs

Samsung is rumored to launch its thinnest flagship smartphone ever, the Galaxy S25 Slim, and the first look of the device is surfacing online.

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event on 22 January. Usually, the company introduces three variants in the Galaxy S-series: base, plus, and ultra. This time, Samsung plans to introduce one more variant under the same series: the Galaxy S25 Slim, which is rumored to launch sometime in May 2025.

Galaxy S25 Slim Design and Specs Leaked

A reliable source Smartprix leaked the first look of the Galaxy S25 Slim, which is impressively thin at 6.4 mm, making it one of Samsung’s thinnest phones yet. According to the leak, the device measures 159 x 76 x 6.4 mm; however, it is still not the slimmest phone in the Galaxy family since the older Galaxy A8 held the title of the slimmest phone with 4.9 mm. The device in the leaked renders appears in a metal frame and a glass back.

Samsung will power the Galaxy S25 Slim with the same processor as the standard variants of the Galaxy S25 series: Snapdragon 8 Elite. It features a triple camera setup, including a 200MP primary sensor alongside a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. It’s expected to be the first Galaxy phone to feature an ALoP camera.

Reportedly, it could have a battery size between 4,700 mAh and 5,000 mAh, which would be efficient for a device of this size. Recently it was reported that Samsung could launch the Galaxy S25 Slim a few months after the Galaxy S25 series, maybe in May.

However, Samsung hasn’t revealed any official details regarding the Galaxy S25 Slim launch and specifications; it will be interesting to see what new novelties the device will bring.
