Samsung is gearing up to launch a new smartphone named Galaxy S25 Slim, which could clash with Apple’s iPhone 17 Plus.
Currently, Samsung is working on debuting the standard Galaxy S25 series which will include three variants: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Apart from these standard variants, the brand is also planning to launch one more device under the same series called the Galaxy S25 Slim which is rumored to be the most thinner smartphone than any other Galaxy devices available in the market.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to measure a 6.6mm thin design and 1mm thinner than the standard Galaxy S24. Now a reliable tipster shared a post on X, revealing the expected thickness of the coming iPhone 17 Air which could measure 6.25mm.
If the report comes true, then the iPhone 17 Air could be slightly thinner than the Galaxy S25 Slim. However, for now, there’s no confirmation regarding the thickness from both brands for their dedicated coming slim devices.
Both the Galaxy S25 Slim and iPhone 17 Air are expected to debut sometime between the second and third quarter of the year. It will be interesting to see which brand will introduce more slimmer device.
