Samsung Care+ Now Offers Free Screen Replacement in the USA [U]

Samsung is making things affordable for Galaxy users for their screen replacement as it is removing fees for cracked & damaged screen exchanges in specific Samsung Care+ plans.

The Korean tech giant introduced the Samsung Care+ program, which is an extra insurance package for Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches, as it goes beyond the company’s regular warranty to offer extended protection.

Samsung Galaxy flagship smartphone’s screen replacement is quite expensive; to avoid high expenses, Samsung introduced the Care+ premium service plan, for which it charges a $29 fee for cracked and damaged screen replacement. Surprisingly, now it is removing that fee in selected Samsung Care+ plans to reduce more burden.

The company has announced that from 15 January next year, it will not ask to pay for screen replacement, including front and back glass repair for Galaxy devices, as it is removing the $29 fee for screen repairs. Noticeably, this new scheme is only applicable to the Theft and Loss tier of Samsung Care+. It also includes screen repairs done through mail-in, walk-in, and in-store processes.

Samsung has called this scheme a “Zero Dollar Screen Repair.”  Also, this scheme does not apply to foldable phones.

Update – 1/15/2025

Samsung has officially announced a new update for Care+ with Theft and Loss subscribers, now offering “$0 unlimited same-day repairs.” This update is already reflected on Samsung’s website. Additionally, this benefit will extend to its upcoming release, the Galaxy S25 Series.
