Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro Could Launch with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3

Samsung’s XCover series is highly considered to be the one with a rugged smartphone or device with removable batteries. However, with just a mere option available in the market, the company currently seems to be developing the successor of the Galaxy XCover 7, and that too, powering a Snapdragon chipset.

A new string code found via Android Authority significantly shows us the sign that Samsung is probably working on introducing its next rugged smartphone, the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, while the key highlight with this revelation is that the phone is to be powered by Qualcomm’s powerhouse: Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset.

The code listed an SM7635 model number alongside the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro device name, thus suggesting that the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor could power this forthcoming rugged smartphone. Meanwhile, the reports further stated that earlier it was allegedly leaked that Samsung is undergoing works for the XCover 8 Pro; however, this still seems to be a mere conception and not the reality.

Alternatively, the rumoured Galaxy XCover 7 Pro might be a powerful successor of its previous partner, the XCover 7 due to the inclusion of Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. While it’s expected that Samsung will stick to the original rugged form factor for the new XCover 7 Pro, for now, it’s better to wait for an official confirmation before believing in such leaks.
