Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge to flaunt its light weight factor; leak says so

Samsung’s upcoming smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, is considered to be the slimmest phone ever, which is gradually shaping up to enhance the newly launched S25 family, though. While a lot of leaks have been ramped up in the past, a recent report suggests that the S25 Edge will apparently be light in weight.

Surprisingly! Fans recently witnessed a brief preview of the fourth model in the Galaxy S25 series, the S25 Edge, during the Galaxy Unpacked event last month, and they discovered something surprising! Slowly everything is coming to light as the leaker Ice Universe claims the S25 Edge weighs less than the base model, the S25.

Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy S25 weighs 162g in total, and if the aforementioned leak is to be believed, then the S25 Edge will weigh comparatively less than the base Galaxy S25. Alternatively, another factor of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge being lighter could be due to equipping a rumored smaller battery capacity of 3,900 mAh.

Since the battery of a smartphone takes up a larger portion of weight, the smaller battery factor certainly has a great contribution to the phone being so light in weight.

Apart from this, the most recent leak even believes that Samsung is going to introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge as the slimmest flagship ever, with a thickness of just 5.84 mm, while that’s impressive, and another leak asserts that the S25 Edge will be available in Q2 this year. Well, Galaxy fans need to just sit back and wait, as at the end it’s all up to Samsung what the plans are regarding the newest smartphone.
