Galaxy S25 Receives Its First One UI 7-based Software Update

Samsung’s most awaited flagship, the Galaxy S25 series, arrived in the market worldwide a few days back. The smartphones are the first to come pre-installed with the Android 15-based One UI 7 version. Meanwhile, the company has begun delivering the February 2025 security update for the newly launched devices in South Korea.

The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are spotted receiving their first software update after their launch. Simultaneously, we have identified the February 2025 security update for all three models with their respective version numbers: S931NKSU1AYB3, S936NKSU1AYB3, and S938NKSU1AYB3.

Since the February patch is merely a security patch, it, however, doesn’t list any major features and changes; rather, it relies on improving the overall system security by integrating a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been brought up by both Google and Samsung collectively. This certainly helps users to have a safer and more secure experience while also protecting the device against potential threats.

Besides introducing several fixes, the update further provides a smoother and more efficient performance and functionality by adding stability to the overall system behavior, applying all the latest security patches, and bringing various performance optimizations.

The Samsung Galaxy S25’s February patch is currently available in South Korea and will soon expand to more eligible countries.
