Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4 get refreshed with February 2025 Update in the USA

Samsung is continuing with the February 2025 security update rollout for its major flagships and foldable devices; meanwhile, the patch is now available for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 in the US.

The February 2025 security update rollout has begun for the carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip units on carriers including T-Mobile and MetroPCS and can be recognized with the F936USQS7GYA5 and F721USQS7GYA5 version numbers. Also, the update will be expanded for the unlocked models shortly.

As usual, Samsung’s February patch is also a mere bug-fixing software update that brings a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been brought up by both Google and Samsung collectively, aiming to offer a more safe and secure user experience while also protecting the device against potential threats and harms.

On the other hand, the update further introduces a few performance optimizations for a smooth and efficient experience while also adding stability to the overall system behavior and applying all the latest security patches that allow users to have stable and optimized functionality.

Currently, Samsung Galaxy 4th Gen foldable owners are getting the update in the US, while other eligible regions will come in line shortly.
