Samsung is rolling out a new software for Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4 alongside A series model, Galaxy A13 that integrates February update for more enhanced security.
The February 2025 security update for the Verizon carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4 and Galaxy A13 is now available in the US.
However, the patch has already hit Samsung’s 4th gen foldables in Europe. The following update can be recognized with the F936USQS7GYA5 and F721USQS7GYA5 build numbers, respectively for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, while the Galaxy A13 carries A135USQSBEYA1 version number.
Since the security update; however, don’t introduce any major features and changes, these are primarily meant to increase and improve the device’s overall security and core functionality. It integrates a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous version in order to offer a more safe and secure user experience, while also protecting the devices against potential risks.
At the same time, the update significantly adds stability to the overall system behavior, brings certain performance optimizations, and applies all the latest security patches introduced that will eventually lead to a smooth, stable and optimized performance and functionality.
