The stage has already been set as Samsung is looking forward to finally unveiling its most awaited Android XR headsets, Project Moohan at Mobile World Congress 2025 event happening in Barcelona.
In case you missed it! Project Moohan is Samsung’s first Android-based XR headsets that are developed in partnership with Google that combines Gemini AI and Circle to Search, while also integrating various multimodal AI in order to offer a glimpse to an Android-powered XR future.
Although previous leaks suggests that Samsung was supposed to introduce its first Android XR headsets at the Galaxy Unpacked event held back in January, this year; however, it doesn’t happen and finally the company officially confirmed that its Project Moohan headsets will be unveiled at the on-going Mobile World Congress 2025 (happening from 3rd March-6th March 2025) event.
Samsung’s newest Android XR headsets will be a mixture of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR) and more other similar technology aspects that will enhance the overall user experience and take it to the next level. Well, Google’s partnership will play a major role, with being powered by Android-based XR platform, Project Moohan are also reported to feature Google’s best services including Find My Device.
For now, Samsung is only going to unveil its newest Android XR headsets, Project Moohan at MWC 2025; it’s currently unknown whether the company will be showcasing all the necessary details or is supposed to just show off the latest headsets on stage with its various amazing features.
