Samsung has already revealed its first XR headset, Project Moohan. It is based on Google’s all-new Android XR and will integrate Google’s Find My Device feature.

Samsung’s forthcoming XR headset, Project Moohan, is reported to integrate Google’s Find My Device feature, which will permit users to locate their headset if misplaced or lost. This confirmation from a Google official adds to the expectations surrounding the forthcoming device, which is expected to launch sometime next year.

It is being speculated by the confirmation from Shahra Izadi, Vice President and General Manager of Google’s AR/XR department, in an interview with Android Faithful, that users can easily locate their headsets if they are misplaced via Google’s Find My Device feature.

This integration will be significant in the scenes where you misplace your Samsung XR, so it will let you track your device. Although, somehow, it’s a major thing, since Android XR is based on Android and uses Google’s services, this hints the company could extend the basic feature that it offers across its platforms to Android XR as well.

Apart from this, Izadi in the interview also leaked the rest of the other things regarding Android XR; for instance, it will support several familiar Android features, specifically those under the “Better Together” category.
