Samsung May Face More Competition from iPhone in 2025

Samsung is the only contender in the smartphone industry, and it provides tough competition in terms of innovations, availability, and popularity. However, in the smartphone business, the scenario can suddenly change as consumers want other products at the best price, which depends on several factors. Now, with the latest developments, Apple may gain these types of advantages over Samsung.

According to the report, the Trump administration may exempt the iPhones manufactured in China from import tariffs to the US. If this report comes true, then Apple will get an exceptional advantage and will introduce the devices at competitive prices. Meanwhile, Samsung could face the same tariffs at the same time.

As of now, Samsung holds a marginal difference in terms of market share, so with the benefits of the price cutting, Apple can easily surpass Samsung in sales next year.

Samsung will face heavy pressure in holding the US market

Earlier it was reported that President-elect Trump also announced that it will introduce heavy tariffs on Chinese imports. More specifically, China-made products could face at least a 60 percent tariff hike in the coming days, which will obviously impact Apple as well because it makes the iPhones through the Foxconn factories in China.

On the other hand, other than China, other imported goods will fall under the 10% tariff increase. So it will impact the Samsung market and work as a blade sword where the company will face heavy pressure in sales due to the inevitable price hikes on its products.
