Samsung Rolls Out March 2025 Security Fix to More Galaxy A54 and A53 Units in the US

Samsung has almost delivered the latest March 2025 security update for its Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy A53 and A54 devices in different regions; meanwhile, now the company is expanding the update to even more units in the US.

The March 2025 security update is now expanded to more carrier-locked and unlocked Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A54 devices in the US, where the update for the carrier-locked (Verizon, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, US Cellular, Comcast, and Dish Wireless) A54 models comes with the A546USQSACYB9 and A546VSQSACYB7, and the unlocked ones carry the A546U1UESACYB7 build number.

On the other hand, the update for the carrier-locked (USCellular) Galaxy A53 devices is identified with the A536USQSDEYC1, while the unlocked models come with the A536U1UESCEYC1 version number.

Since the security patches are meant to improve the device’s overall security and core functionality, the latest security update, however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes; rather, it significantly focuses on providing a more safe and secure user experience and also protects the device against potential threats by integrating a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous version.

At the same time, the update further brings performance optimizations while also adding stability to the entire system behavior that will eventually lead to a smooth, stable, and optimized user experience.
