Meanwhile, the company has just published the details of the latest monthly Security Maintenance Release (SMR) that significantly integrates March 2025 security patch notes from both Google and Samsung collectively.

Specifically, the March 2025 Android security bulletin package from Google patches brought about a lot of CVE items that includes 11 critical CVE items, 40 high-level CVEs, 1 CVE is already included in the previous updates, and lastly, 3 CVEs are not applicable to Samsung devices.

Accompanied by the aforementioned Google patches, Samsung Mobile brings 7 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs) items that significantly offers a more safe and secure user experience, while also improving the device’s core functionality and performance. These SVEs include improvements to the device’s settings, Galaxy watch Gallery, and Wi-Fi service, alongside Android applications updates for Samsung Notes, Galaxy Wearable, and My Files.

Moreover, Samsung will begin the March 2025 security update rollout shortly for its eligible Galaxy smartphones, foldables and tablets in different parts of the world. Also, Samsung has further removed a few Galaxy devices from the security update list, and these devices are: Galaxy A32 5G, Galaxy F12 and Galaxy M12.
