Circle to Search grabs three new AI Overview options

Google expanded the Circle to Search’s functionality by offering three new AI options via the latest Google app’s beta version.

One of our reliable colleagues, Android Authority, revealed that Google released the latest Google app beta with the version number 16.11.36 that brings three new notable chipsets for AI Overviews through Circle to Search, which are as follows –

  • Summarize
  • Explain
  • Extract Text

These chips will enable you to summarize, explain, and extract text from images to enhance your experience. The ‘Summarize’ option will offer you a concise summary of the text in an image based on key points.

The ‘Explain’ option provides a comprehensive explanation of the text based on the text in the image itself. The last ‘Extract Text’ allows you to pull out all the text from the image that helps you to copy it easily.

Noticeably, these new options are running in the Google app beta currently, although it’s expected that the company will release a stable update soon, and it will likely be available to more Android devices, including Samsung Galaxy devices.

However, the exact timeline for the stable release is unclear, and it will be interesting to see whether these new options will be released widely or limited to selected devices.
