You Don’t Need Android Auto 14.1 to Play Games on Your Car Display!

Google is paving ways to make Android Auto more enjoyable for the users by integrating the capability to play some selected Android games on their car’s display. Meanwhile, a report suggests that the requirement to play games is not what users have been thinking about.
Basically, Android Auto is allowing users to play a few selected Android games directly on their car’s display when their vehicle is parked, however, last week it was spotted that the Android Auto 14.1 update brought this Android games integration via the beta channel. Also, this version is not actually required to play compatible games on Android Auto.
Meanwhile, the reports from 9To5Google apparently uncovered that the games were perfectly playable on the current stable Android Auto 14 version; rather Google says that Android Auto works absolutely fine with a few compatible apps and games, however, the only requirement to do so is that the smartphone must be running on the latest Android 15 version or higher.
At the same time, Android Auto will only allow users to play certain selected games on their car’s display when it’s completely parked.
Moreover, Google is working on an enhanced Android Auto functionality, while a recent report says that the Gemini has already started replacing Google Assistant on Android Auto, however, it apparently ditches the mic icon. Alongside, as the Android Auto 14 stable update is now available widely for all the users, it’s anticipated that more useful functions are on the way to Google’s smart driving companion
