Samsung is delivering the stable One UI 7 gradually, firstly to its most recent flagship devices; meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE already got an early version of the latest update, despite the official release being some time away.
Last week, Samsung delivered the One UI 7 based on Android 15 to its latest flagship smartphones in South Korea after its initial stable release with the Galaxy S25 series. Currently, the company is expanding the update in more regions.
Reportedly, Italian Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, and foldable users are waiting for the One UI 7 update, meanwhile, an early version of the update has been found on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, despite the tablet not being in the beta program.

According to Samsung’s One UI 7 roadmap, the official update for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is not expected until at least June 2025. A user on X shared a short video and multiple screenshots showcasing One UI 7 in action on the Galaxy Tab S9 FE.
Reportedly, it is a pre-release test version, far from the final version and certainly not ready for release to the general public. The version of the One UI 7 shown in the video has the build number X516BXXU7CYD1 and includes the April 2025 security patches. The official statement regarding this early version has yet to be released, so it remains to be seen what will happen next.
