Samsung recently launched its latest Galaxy Tab S10 FE series with a decent design, great specifications, and advanced features, but it lacks a Bluetooth S Pen.
A few days back, the Korean tech giant announced an affordable Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, including Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+. The company launched this series as the successor of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, which also shipped with a basic S Pen without the Bluetooth functionality, same as the newly launched tablet series.
After a massive controversy regarding the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen, Samsung was anticipated to offer a Bluetooth S Pen with the latest tablet series. The S Pen without Bluetooth functionality lacks a few convenient features, like Air Actions and remote camera shutter control.
However, the reason behind this move is to make the Galaxy Tab S10 FE models slimmer and lighter than their predecessors and also affordable. Samsung removed the Bluetooth S Pen functionality last year with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and this year with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which suggests that the company is looking forward to gradually abandoning this feature.
The above discussion hints that the coming next-generation Galaxy S26 may also lack a Bluetooth S Pen, but previously, it was reported that it could be the last S-series Ultra model to have a built-in S Pen. However, there are no official words regarding this expectation, it remains to be seen whether Samsung will offer this functionality to coming flagship devices or completely remove it.
