Samsung introduced its flagship Galaxy S25 series earlier this year, and the Ultra variant of the lineup sold out more than the combined sales of the Base and Plus variants.
Back in January 2025, at the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung debuted the Galaxy S25 lineup, which includes three models: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. All of these are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box.
Within a few days after launch, the series broke the pre-order records of its predecessors. It was reported that in 21 days, the Galaxy S25 series broke sales records in Korea with 1 million. Up to date, the series is almost a quarter older, and is still in demand, especially the Ultra variant; Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Meanwhile, a reliable tipster, Jukanloserve, shared a text post on X, revealing that Samsung recorded sales of 20.29 million units in March 2025, representing a 2% YoY decline but a 5% MoM increase.
According to him, the two-month gross sales of the Galaxy S25 series reached 9.16 million units, whereas the dedicated sales of each variant are mentioned below –
- Galaxy S25 – 2.41 million
- Galaxy S25 + – 1.67 million
- Galaxy S25 Ultra – 5.08 million
These metrics revealed that the total sum of the base and plus model’s sales is not even equal to the ultra variant’s sales, which means that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is in more demand among customers.
