Samsung to open Galaxy AI-driven restaurant to make unique recipes

Samsung is planning to open a restaurant where Galaxy AI will play a lead role by helping the Chef via giving a unique AI-generated recipe for each dinner.

The Korean tech giant is looking forward to expanding the Galaxy AI ways in the kitchen as it is planning to open a restaurant in Portugal where Galaxy AI will offer unique recipes to the Chef for every dinner. Reportedly, the newly opened restaurant is called Sem Igual, which roughly translates to Without Equal or Unique. Let’s take a closer look at how it will work exactly.

The Sem Igual dinner will provide a Galaxy S25 at their table so that they can use it to photograph their desired ingredients, and they can also pick one source of protein, one carbohydrate, three vegetables, and a sauce. Then Galaxy AI will start its work as it will use the photos to generate a one-of-a-kind recipe according to the chosen ingredients.

The next step is to pass the AI-generated recipe to the kitchen, where Chef João Dourado will prepare the dish. The restaurant will stand out as unique in itself, since it will not serve two identical dishes.

Samsung Portugal has also shared a promotional video of the AI pop-up restaurant, which states that Sem Igual is the restaurant that doesn’t serve two identical dishes. According to the video description, also states that the AI will pick among 25 ingredients, resulting in multiple possible combinations.
Reportedly, Samsung will open its AI-driven restaurant in Lisbon for only two days, next week on May 8 and 9, then it will expand the availability in Porto for two days: May 16 and 17.
