Samsung has launched its slimmest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge. Being a flagship category smartphone, it is coming with all the latest hardware and software but due to its slimness, it has sacrificed the battery capacity.
According to the information, the device has a 3900mAh battery, which is significantly lower than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which arrived with a 5000mAh battery. However, the company doesn’t compromise on performance and equipped the device with a Snapdragon 8 Elite “for Galaxy.” Here, the “for galaxy” stands for the term used by Samsung to indicate that the chipset is modified and optimised for its devices for better performance.
However, this time Samsung used the term of smart battery for the device, which is expected to give more backup than usual ones, but it hasn’t explained how it could work to extend the battery life. In simple words the battery could last at least for the full day
It is expected that Samsung could introduce smart optimisation to make it manage the battery more efficiently. It would be more exciting if Samsung used the new silicon-carbon batteries, supposedly to make the battery run for more hours.
