Galaxy Z Fold 7 (US Model) Confirmed with Snapdragon 8 Elite and Android 16 with One UI 8

Samsung is gearing up to debut the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2025, which is highly anticipated to run Android 16-based One UI 8, as GeekBench spotting reveals.

Recently, it was revealed that Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Galaxy Z Flip 7 and One UI 8 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025, which hints at the possibility that the upcoming foldables will run the latest software update. However, it’s already revealed that the next-generation foldable will run One UI 8 out of the box.

Meanwhile, a tipster, Tarun Vats, on X, shared a post revealing that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 was spotted running Android 16 with One UI 8 on GeekBench. According to the listing, the single-core of the device scored 3022, and the multi-core scored 9307.

The company is rumored to power the device with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It could feature an 8-inch inner and 6.5-inch cover display, measuring 4.5mm in body while unfolded. It reported that Samsung could offer a bigger camera bump to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 as compared to its predecessor. The device is expected to have 25W chargingsupport and an upgraded camera setup, including a 200MP main camera.

However, Samsung has yet to reveal the official specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, so it remains to be seen whether the leaked reports will come true.
