Samsung Expands One UI 7 to Budget Galaxy Phones

After a long wait, Samsung is now swiftly distributing the One UI 7 and with the latest development it has started rolling out the update to its budget devices including Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A15 devices, it is worth noticing that these device were schedule to get the update in the last wave but with the rapid distribution it has started rolling out the update for these devices as well.

Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A15 get One UI 7 in South Korea

Samsung is rolling out the One UI 7 for the Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A15 to the South Korean region, Users can check the update by the firmware version number A165NKSU2BYE2 and  A155NKSU5BYD5. Both smartphones are getting the latest May 2025 security patch. The update could expand to more regions soon.

With the One UI 7, the Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A15 are getting several new productivity features and a new UI design applied to different elements, including the Quick panel, Home screen, lock screen, widgets and app icons. The update also brings the Now bar feature for managing the live activities easily, along with this,s there are several changes added under different exciting functionalities, including camera, Samsung health, multitasking and many more.

It is worth noticing that Galaxy A16 has taken some advantages over the predecessor with the availability of Circle to search and accessibility of Gemini with the side button. Apart from these, other changes were applied similarly on both devices.
