May 2025 update arrives for the Galaxy S24, Fold 6 and Flip 6 expands to Europe

Samsung is rolling out a new update that integrates the latest May 2025 security patch, while the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 units are getting the update in Europe.
First up, the Galaxy S24 series have already covered a few regions, including the US, and South Korea; meanwhile, the company is currently expanding the latest security patch for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra in Europe, carrying the build numbers, S921BXXS4BYE3, S926BXXS4BYE3 and S928BXXS4BYE3, respectively.
On the other hand, the foldables, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 units, are also receiving the same update in some European countries and are identified with the build numbers F956BXXS2BYDF and F741BXXS2BYDF, respectively.

Specifically, the latest patch; however, doesn’t bring any massive changes and features; rather it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality. It integrates a lot of key bug fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous version in order to provide a secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external threats and other risks.
In addition, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior and brings certain performance optimizations that eventually leads to a more smooth, stable and optimized device functionality.
