One UI 8’s new Running Coach feature to provide a more personalized training sessions

One UI 8 is the new talk of the town! Samsung appears to be actively working on its next major OS for the Galaxy devices. The newest version is indeed equipped with various capabilities of Android 16 on top. Meanwhile, a new feature is discovered that will make running a fan.
According to the recent report, it is revealed that Samsung is working on a new feature that is supposed to make its way with One UI 8.
Actually, the new feature will be built keeping runners in mind, and is named as the Running Coach, where users can get a slight idea, as its name suggests, that this feature will be designed to help runners track their fitness level and offer a personalized training plan, which is going to be based on the runner’s fitness parameters and to make the most out of their everyday sessions.
Beyond this, first up, the latest Running Coach feature will offer users a small challenge, where the users need to run as far as they can in just 12 minutes, while according to this running parameter, the feature will prepare a personalized training plan for the runner, followed by leveling it up gradually.
Well, Samsung has been working on this Running Coach functionality for a while now, while the Galaxy smartwatches already allows users to track their workout session, while also integrating the accurate measurement of VO2 Max and sweat loss data. Also, the Running Coach feature will grab real-time heart data from the Galaxy Watch in order to evaluate the everyday running sessions of the users, while also ensuring risk free training as well.
Since Samsung’s One UI 8 is currently in its early stages of development, and with the public beta program being set to begin soon; it’s possible that the new running feature might make its way in the upcoming One UI 8 beta build.
