Samsung has rolled out the May 2025 security patch for the Galaxy S21 series in Asia. Users who own the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra with the firmware version number G991BXXSFHYE1, G996BXXSFHYE1 and G998BXXSFHYE1, respectively.
The May 2025 patch for the Galaxy S21 series doesn’t bring any significant changes but it will ensure that it will provide some new security enhancements. So, if you want to stay secure, then you should update the device.
As mentioned above, the update is spotted rolling out in Asian countries. If you reside in any of these countries, you should start getting notifications about the software’s availability. Alternatively, you can also check the update by going to the software update menu from the system settings.
