Samsung Galaxy Watches receives the capability to control Skoda cars

Samsung has always focused on improving the experience and usability of its Galaxy smartwatches by infusing various interesting features and upgrades that make the wearables one of a kind. Now, users can easily control their vehicle using their Galaxy Watch.

Samsung Galaxy Watch owners can now rejoice as they can now seamlessly control their Skoda vehicle right from their wrist, thanks to the latest update of the MySkoda app.

Most prominently, the update for the MySkoda app, which is currently running in BETA, significantly adds support for Android watches, including the Galaxy wearables, where the Skoda owners will be able to track their vehicle status and certain basic functions of their car.

This will eventually add a little more convenience and peace of mind to the user, as they can check some key activities of their car from anywhere and at any time.

At the same time, the MySkoda app update further brings the charging statistics for CSV export while also offering charging settings of maximum AC charging current for Citigo iV. Since the Galaxy watches run Wear OS on top, this functionality will enhance the overall car experience of the users.

Well, Samsung is up to a big upgrade, as it was earlier reported that its Galaxy watches will be able to track beta carotene levels as the wearables will be integrated with the new Antioxidant Index feature. Also, other reports include the addition of a live updates feature in late 2026, a parent-friendly Galaxy Watch for Kids feature, and more.

Well, Samsung seems to be preparing to introduce its next-generation Galaxy Watch 8 series, which is already rumored to arrive on One UI 8 Watch out of the box, skipping the One UI 6.5 Watch and One UI 7 Watch versions completely.
