Verizon brings May 2025 security patch for Galaxy Foldables

Samsung is moving forward towards its next major update, Android 16 based on One UI 8. However, without getting distracted it is also distributing the May 2025 security patch for its eligible devices. With the latest development, the Galaxy Z Foldables are getting update in the US.

Samsung has rolled out the May 2025 security patch for the Verizon locked Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, Fold 5, Flip 5, Fold 4, Flip 4, Fold 3 and Flip 3. some of the devices have already got the update in other carriers as well. With the latest update it doesn’t bring any significant changes for the device. Users own these devices can check the below firmware.

The May 2025 patch for the foldables doesn’t bring any significant changes for the devices but it will provide some new changes for the devices to ensure the strengthening of the security of the devices. Along with this the update could offer some other fixes to make the device working more smooth.

It is worth noticing that in the last update, Samsung has introduced the One UI 7 which is major update for these devices. So if you are getting any issues while using the devices after installing the update then you should update your device to the latest software.

To install the latest update on your device you just need to follow the simple process: First you need to open the system settings, then tap on the software update menu then tap on the download and install  option, here wait till new update flashes then tap on the download button.
