Galaxy S22 series could soon join the One UI 8 beta program

Samsung is actively working on expanding its latest Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program to more devices following the Galaxy S25 series.
Last week, Samsung rolled out the One UI 8 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series in selected countries, including the US, UK, Germany, and Korea, and will soon be available in Indian and Poland. Meanwhile, the company has already started working on extending the beta update to more eligible devices.
Samsung has already confirmed that the stable Android 16 (One UI 8) will be introduced with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 sometime in July at the Unpacked event. Recently, it was also reported that the company is working to bring the beta to its tablets, as the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra was spotted running One UI 8 build on Geekbench.

Now, an X user shared a post, revealing that Samsung has created a page for the Galaxy S22 One UI 8 beta program on its Community forum. This hints that the company will start rolling out the beta update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
However, the exact timeline for the beta program expansion has yet to be revealed, so it remains to be seen whether the company will start rolling out the beta to more devices before the stable release.
