Samsung Quietly Releases New Internet App for Fold7 and Flip7

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are around the corner to go official, and ahead of the launch, both devices are spotted with a new version of Samsung Internet Browser.
The Korean tech giant will launch the next-generation foldable phones at the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is supposed to be held sometime by mid-July. Meanwhile, one of our reliable colleagues, GalaxyClub, spotted a new browser listing that is titled “Samsung Internet Browser for Fold7 and Flip7.”

Reportedly, the new browser was spotted alongside another version labeled “Samsung Internet Browser for One UI 8.0 Beta.” This appears like the company is gearing up to introduce a foldable optimized browser; however, that’s not the case since they are essentially the same app.
Noticeably, both the newly spotted versions share the same version number, v28.0.2.43, and also the same file size, 171.11 MB. Although it has yet to be clear exactly why Samsung added a foldable-specific browser version to the Galaxy Store, even when it behaves identically to the One UI 8 version.
Apart from this, the spotting confirmed the names of the devices, and it’s clear that there are no surprises, as they will be called the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, and there will be no rebranding or Ultra monikers.
