Samsung Galaxy XCover7 starts getting One UI 7 and Android 15 update

Samsung is rolling out the One UI 7 for the Galaxy XCover7 as the first major update for the devices which are based on the latest Android 15. The device will get some major changes to enhance the overall user experience and get more utility changes.
One UI 7 and Android 15 update for Galaxy XCover7 live in Europe
Samsung has rolled out the One UI 7 for the Galaxy XCover7, it is carrying firmware version number G556BXXU9CYE5. With the latest update there are several new changes applied to the visual UI and added some new features that will get more new changes for the devices. It also brings a May 2025 security patch.
In detail, One UI 7 for the bold new look, lock screen Quick panel and notifications, capture images and manage health. The update has also added the direct Gemini access to the side button.
The update has also introduced some security related enhancements with the strengthening of autoblocker with some new options and new theft protection feature is also added.
If you are using the Galaxy XCover7 in Europe then you should start getting the update notification on your devices. Alternatively you can also check the latest update manually from the system settings.
Samsung has introduced the XCover7 back in 2024 with the Android 14 preinstalled, later it has received its first major update and also got some minor security patches. It is expected that the device should get the software updates for at least three more years.
