Samsung Secure Folder updates to offer a smooth user experience

Samsung Secure Folder is a dedicated space designed to keep apps and data secure separately from prying eyes, adding an extra layer of security and privacy. Now, the app is getting a new update, bringing more improvements to the overall app using experience.

A previous report mentioned that One UI 8 may trigger the addition of a new kill switch to the Secure Folder, meanwhile, the company is already rolling out a new update for the Secure Folder app, while the users can download the latest version on their phones via the Galaxy Store.

Specifically, the post update for the Samsung Secure Folder brings a new version number, 1.9.10.25, while the update; however, doesn’t bring any massive features and changes; rather its changelog lists the same things that arrived with the previous version, where the latest update fixed the issue of the disappearance of app icon in the secure folder to offer a smoother performance and functionality.

Beyond this, the update further brings some key bug fixes and other improvements that significantly provides a more smooth, stable and optimized user experience.

Well, certain reports flashed in the recent past regarding the privacy breach issue, where the Secure Folder is not protecting the apps or media publically, and thus breaching the security. However, it was also claimed that this issue will get fixed with the upcoming One UI 8.

With that said, it appears like Samsung has already stored a few interesting aspects in the bank, while these may be scheduled to arrive with the next major OS, One UI 8 in Samsung’s Secure Folder.
