Samsung fixed Galaxy S25’s Phone app freezing issue

Samsung Galaxy S25 users have been facing inconvenience while receiving seamless calls using Bixby voice commands for the recent days; now, finally, the company has fixed the issue.

Since the last recent days, the Galaxy S25 users were reporting a strange bug that causes the Phone app to freeze and audio to drop out when receiving calls using Bixby voice commands. However, the company has shown awareness by fixing the bug in a relatively short time, by releasing a new update for its Bixby Wakeup.

Samsung has shared a post on its Community, revealing that the bug emerges from version 2.6.11.18 of the Bixby Wakeup app. Right after the company acknowledged the bug, as soon as possible it rolled out a new update and upgraded the app to version 2.6.13.2.

The Galaxy S25 users who are facing this issue are advised to update the Bixby Wakeup app immediately, which will prevent them from inconvenience while calling. Users can easily update the app via the Galaxy Store by following a few easy steps as mentioned here: Open the Galaxy Store >> search for the Bixby Wakeup app, and tap on update to the latest version.

Noticeably, it could be possible that the update may not appear immediately for all users since the company is releasing it in batches, but it’s expected that the update will be available widely soon.
