Samsung Galaxy S21 FE gets June 2025 security patch

Samsung is continuing with the June 2025 security patch rollout for its eligible Galaxy devices, while the list is slowly growing and the Galaxy S21 FE joins the party after Galaxy A56 and Galaxy S25 series.

The Galaxy S21 FE is getting the June 2025 security patch in Asia, and is currently spotted in Vietnam, however, the update is expected to reach more eligible regions in the coming future.

More specifically, the latest firmware for Samsung’s fan edition model of 2021 is identified with the build number, G990EXXSFGYF1 and brings the latest June 2025 security patch level that significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.

It packs a host of fixes that have been brought up by both Google and Samsung for all the security vulnerabilities to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against various external threats and attacks.

At the same time, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior for an efficient functionality and brings certain performance optimizations to offer a stable, smooth and optimized experience to the users.

Well, Samsung launched the fifth member of the Galaxy S21 family, the Galaxy S21 FE which is dedicatedly designed for fans. Due to Samsung’s upgraded software policy, the Galaxy S21 FE is eligible to receive more security patches for two years from now according to its software update policy
