Samsung’s June 2025 Security Patch for Galaxy S25 now live in the US

Samsung is smoothly progressing with the June 2025 security patch rollout for all of its Galaxy devices. Now, right after delivering the latest One UI 8 beta 2, the company has started expanding the June 2025 security update for the Galaxy S25 family in the US region.

While the Galaxy S25 series’ June patch already hit the global markets, the update is now reaching more units in the US. Currently, the update is available for both the carrier-locked and unlocked Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra in the country.

More specifically, the carrier-locked Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra models carry build numbers, S931USQS4AYE4, S936USQS4AYE4 and S938USQS4AYE4, respectively, while the unlocked variants comes with the build numbers, S931U1UES4AYE3, S936U1UES4AYE3 and S938U1UES4AYE3, respectively.

Meanwhile, the update is just a minor June 2025 security patch that; however, doesn’t bring any major feature or changes; rather it primarily focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality. It brings plenty of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous version in order to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against sophisticated external threats.

At the same time, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for a more efficient functionality, and brings certain performance optimizations that eventually leads to a more smooth and stable functionality.
